Scott and Aaron remember several great women of American history – and a few impactful social movements, some of which (in Aaron’s words) serve as reminders that while we often say violence is never the answer, “sometimes you got to throw a rock.” This week: legendary sprinter Wilma Rudolph, a pioneering and influential African-American librarian, a woman who challenged stereotypes on the seat of a bicycle, the Stonewall rioters, the colonial Regulators, and a group of courageous Durhamites who staged a sit-in against segregation at the Royal Ice Cream Parlor in 1957.
