On Saturday, July 5, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbournewill perform their last show ever.
The highly anticipated event called Back to the Beginning won’t only feature the legendary band, but also some of the biggest names rock and metal music have ever seen.
Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli’s son, Wolfgang Van Halen, was supposed to perform at Back to the Beginning, but has since dropped out.

"I, unfortunately, had to back out because the Creed tour starts the day after, and I [wouldn 't] be able to pull it off—unfortunately," Wolfgang, 34, said in a recent interview. "I'm very excited to watch it, but I unfortunately had to back out."
The son of rock royalty is a talented musician himself and his band, Mammoth, is currently the supporting act for Creed.
Although Wolfgang won’t be there, he has nothing but the utmost respect for Osbourne, 75, and Black Sabbath’s legacy. In fact, he helped induct him into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame last in 2024.
"My family lineage is intertwined and has gone way back with the likes of Ozzy," he explained in an interview last month. "My dad was very, very close with Tony [Iommi], probably the closest of any other guitar players out there. It was a crazy honor to be there for the Hall of Fame induction."
Black Sabbath, comprising Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass), and Bill Ward (drums), will take the stage at Back to the Beginning at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
“It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning … time for me to give back to the place where I was born,” Osbourne said of the show. “How blessed am I to do it with the help of people whom I love. Birmingham is the true home of metal. Birmingham Forever.”
