PAT McAfee thinks Taylor Swift is going to help Travis Kelce win the Super Bowl this year.
The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a devastating defeat in the Super Bowl last season, and are looking for redemption in 2025.
Travis Kelce has spent much of his offseason hiding away with Taylor Swift, and Pat McAfee thinks that is doing wonders for his mindset.
“I think they continue to inspire each other, I think they continue to motivate each other,” McAfee said.
“I think they continue to motivate each other. I think they continue to be great for each other.
“And if Travis Kelce is all the way back, I think you immediately understand that the Chiefs are going to be where the Chiefs have been, and that’s in title conversations.”
Kelce had the worst season of his career in 2024, with many thinking his massive profile outside of the NFL was impacting him.
He had just 823 yards and three touchdowns across the entire season.
Those were the worst stats of any year in Kelce’s career.
No one is quite sure if this season will be the last of Kelce’s career, but his teammates are excited to watch him bounce back.
Patrick Mahomes thinks that Kelce will be even better this year compared to last year.
“If it’s the last ride, you would never know,” he said at OTAs.
“I mean, the way he’s talking about football, the way he’s talking about working and trying to be even better this year than he was last year.
“He doesn’t seem like a guy that, it’s his last ride, like he’s tired of the job.
“He’s in here, he’s working and I know his body feels good, I think it feels better than even last year before going into last season.”
NFL fans have split opinions about Kelce’s upcoming season, with uncertainty around whether or not he will improve.
