CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Authorities have made another arrest in the weekend mass shooting that turned a house party into a deadly scene in Catawba County.
The incident left one man dead and 11 others injured after more than 80 rounds were fired into a crowd of nearly 100 partygoers late on June 1.
New arrest
Zachary Micheal Bates, 22, of Morganton, has been arrested and charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder. Investigators said his charges are connected to those filed against Garon Nathaniel Killian, Toland Huff, and Ke’andre Mack.
Details about Bates' bond and court appearance have not yet been released.

Zoe Makenna Braswell was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to attempted first-degree murder Garon Nathaniel Killian, 20, was charged earlier this week with attempted first-degree murder. Izaiah Kane Mitchell, 18, of Morganton, is wanted for attempted first-degree murder. He is also wanted in a separate armed robbery case in Burke County. He's considered "armed and dangerous."

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Mitchell, Huff, and Mack. Anyone with information is urged to call the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office at 828-464-3112.
Party organizers face charges
Authorities said the party, attended by minors and potentially charging an entry fee, was illegally organized. Two men have been charged with aiding underage alcohol possession:

Gunfire erupted from a wooded area behind a neighboring house, police said. The bullets struck more than a dozen people, killing 58-year-old Shawn Patrick Hood. Investigators believe multiple shooters were involved.
Reward offered
While the shooting has not been officially labeled as gang-related, authorities noted that some suspects have gang affiliations. The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the remaining suspects.
