Edmonton claimed a pivotal 6-1 win in Game 3 Sunday afternoon to take a 2-1 series lead over the Dallas Stars.
Evan Bouchard and Connor McDavid scored twice within a minute in the opening period to set the Oilers on the path to their dominant victory.
Stuart Skinner delivered another excellent performance in net for Edmonton, making over 30 saves for his second straight win.
McDavid added another tally in the second, and Zach Hyman buried a pair himself in the third. John Klingberg put things well out of reach with a late power-play goal for the Oilers, who are now just two wins from returning to the Stanley Cup Final.
Jason Robertson was the lone Dallas goal-scorer.
The two teams will be back in action at Rogers Place for Game 4 on Tuesday at 6 p.m. MT / 8 p.m. ET.
