User Experience

The Charge 100 Max comes in a standard retail-style box. There is a brightly colored image of the product on the front and details on the sides and back. When you open the box, you’ll find the power bank, a USB-C charging cable and some information on the power bank. The power bank is substantial in size. It’s thick and its larger in length than my iPhone 16 Pro. There is a magnetic charging pad on the top of the power bank and I was able to charge my iPhone on it.

Their final charging rates were 0.91% per minute (iPhone) and 0.84% per minute (Apple Watch). These results, while respectable, were below peak industry fast-charging speeds. For comparison, iPhones can reach up to ~1.67% per minute and Apple Watches up to ~1.78% per minute under ideal conditions. The lower rates observed may be due to factors like battery optimization, device temperature, or charging beyond 50% where speeds naturally taper off.
