In a statement shared with Parade, the brand revealed that the new smoky barbecue flavor “boldly fuses smoky and sweet barbecue spices with Kraft’s signature cheesy, buttery taste, bringing the ultimate barbeque-in-a-box experience straight to your pantry.”
The new mac & cheese flavor is rolling out in stores nationwide now, but if you want to try it you’ll have to act fast, as it will only be available for a limited time through midsummer.
That’s not the only new offering from Kraft on the macaroni and cheese front, as it's also launching new on-the-go options.
It’s been over 20 years since Kraft debuted its snackable microwavable mac & cheese cups, and now it’s doubling down on the deliciousness with jalapeño and ranch flavors.
Kraft is also bringing back the popular everything bagel flavor in cup format, exclusively at Walmart. That flavor originally launched last fall, with Sara Roashan, associate director of innovation for Kraft Mac & Cheese, saying, “As a consumer-obsessed brand, our goal is to introduce new products that deliver on what our fans are craving.”
Roashan continued, “After receiving hundreds of requests for an Everything Bagel flavor, we’re thrilled to officially introduce it to the world.”
