On the 3rd ball of the 12th over, Yash Dayal deceived Suryakumar Yadav with a back-the-hand slower delivery. The Mumbai Indians batter went for a heave across the line but ended up getting a big top edge that ballooned up in the air, and it seemed that it would be an easy catch.
Keeper-batter Jitesh Sharma signaled for it and hared towards the ball. Yash Dayal, on the other hand, was watching the ball as he moved a bit to his right and steadied himself. The pacer got both his hands on it, but at the same time, Jitesh also charged in, and both collided.
