CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A road in Uptown is closed after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say.
The incident happened at the intersection on 4th Street shortly before 10 p.m.
One person was transported from the scene with life-threatening injuries.
The road is closed between Graham Street and Cedar Street.
Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area.
No word from police if anyone will face charges.
