(BCN/KRON) -- A fatal collision on state Highway 1 at Laguna Road northwest of Santa Cruz has reduced the road to a single lane Saturday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash, which involved a car and motorcycle, initially closed the highway in both directions for several hours, the CHP said on social media.
It is unclear if the fatality was the driver of the vehicle or the motorcyclist.
It is not yet known what led to the collision.
