A motorcyclist suffered a pelvic fracture Saturday after a collision in Mission Beach, San Diego police said.
Just before 2:30 p.m., the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department was dispatched to the 3700 block of Mission Boulevard.
A 35-year-old male was riding an electric motorcycle northbound on Mission, along with a 42-year-old male in a Chevy Bolt SUV. The rider, police said, rear ended the Bolt in traffic.
Medics took the injured man to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla for treatment of injuries that were described as non life-threatening. According to police, the other motorist had been in the process of making a delivery for Uber but returned to the scene.
Alcohol was not a factor in the collision. The police department’s Traffic Division will handle the investigation.
