(KRON) – The Gilroy Police Department warns residents of the consequences of participating in sideshows.
The department said they recently responded to a sideshow in an undisclosed parking lot. Police said a truck was seized and impounded for 30 days, which can cost around $3,000, according to Gilroy PD.
The department said as a result of participating in a sideshow, the driver could face up to 90 days in jail, an additional $1,000 fine and two points on their driving record.
“Reckless driving results in serious consequences. It’s not worth it,” the department posted on its social media.
