LANCASTER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- North Elementary School, Lancaster High School, Lancaster County School District Career Center, and Lancaster Bus Office have been placed on lockdown Tuesday, April 1, due to an incident involving police nearby.
Andrew Jackson High, Buford High, and Indian Land High parents received an email from the Lancaster County School District around 3 p.m.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office confirmed there was a shooting incident at the Walmart located at 805 Highway 9 ByPass West in Lancaster.
It is unclear if these incidents are connected at this time.
