Former Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu took a brutal dig at Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of their clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He said that he has always laughed at what they have done to themselves.
Ambati Rayudu has been under the massive scanner since the last edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This was because he trolled Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after they beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to eliminate them from the tournament.
Ambati Rayudu mentioned that Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) celebrated like they won the tournament.
He also mocked the franchise for not winning the title despite having superstars. After that, he then didn't shy away from taking a dig at the team when the franchise lost in playoffs.

With Ambati Rayudu and other Chennai Super Kings fans mocking Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the hype for the clash between the two teams in the ongoing season is on. The match between the two teams is all set to take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday (28th March).
But before the game, Ambati Rayudu came up with another bizarre statement on Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In a conversation with S Badrinath, the former CSK player was asked if the franchise would break the jinx or not.

Replying to this, he mentioned that although he wants RCB to win at some stage but not this year as he wants CSK to win. He trolled the franchise, saying that IPL needs a team like the Bengaluru-based franchise in the league. He said:
"Will RCB jinx be broken this year? Rayudu was asked. "I mean purely as a fan and purely as someone who had really good laughter looking at them over the years because of what they do to themselves. I would want them to win sometime, but not this year, maybe because we want CSK also to really do well and win it. Yeah, in the end, it is like, okay, RCB, we need someone like that in the IPL," he replied.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings started the IPL 2025 on high. Both franchises won their opening game and would be keen to register their second win. While RCB beat Kolkata Knight Riders, CSK defeated Mumbai Indians.
