A fresh batch of stars from the worlds of showbusiness and sport are being lined up to step into the lion’s den for a new series of Celebrity Big Brother.
The reality show, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, returns to ITV in less than two weeks.
And this time not only will there be a new clutch of contestants for the social experiment, there will also be a brand-new Big Brother house at a secret location.
ITV has now confirmed the date the show will kick-off but fans will have to wait a little longer to find out who will be taking up residence in the house.
Celebrity Big Brother is back on ITV1 and STV, with the live launch show set for Monday 7 April at 9pm
The programme, which usually runs for about two weeks, is expected to be broadcast for six nights a week from Sunday to Friday as previously.
Although, there is likely to be a slight change to Sunday night broadcasts which will be at 10pm rather than 9pm.
The spin-off show Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live will also be available after the main programme on ITV2.
And fans will be able to access the Celebrity Big Brother: Live Stream, airing seven nights a week on ITVX and STV Player, providing the opportunity to watch live footage into the small hours after Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live.
Who is rumoured to be on Celebrity Big Brother 2025?
Although ITV has not confirmed any names for the latest version of Celebrity Big Brother, there are a few which are rumoured to be sign up. We take a look at some of the celebrities said to be in the mix:

Jack P Shepherd is among the names said to have been signed up to join the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The actor, 37, is best known for playing David Platt in the soap opera Coronation Street. It’s a role which has earned him a best actor and villain of the year award from the British Soap Awards.
Before Coronation Street, he appeared in Clocking Off and Where The Heart Is.
Angellica Bell

She has also been a contestant on Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, All Star Mr & Mrs and Hell on High Seas.

Daley Thompson is one of the big names rumoured to be joining the show this year.
The athlete won gold in the decathlon at the Olympic Games in 1980 and 1984 and broke the world record for the event four times.
He was named BBC Sport Personality of the Year in 1982 and was made a CBE in 2000.
Since retiring from competitive sport, he has worked as pundit for the BBC and TalkSport and as a fitness coach.
Chris Hughes

He rose to fame in the third series of Love Island, embarked on a brief music career with fellow islander Kem Cetinay and starred in a reality show with former girlfriend and islander Olivia Attwood.
Since then the 32-year-old has carved out a sports presenting career, covering horse racing for ITV and cricket for BBC Sport.

Rebekah Vardy is reported to be hoping to move on from the “Wagatha Christie” libel trial with an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
The 43-year-old wife of Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy is no stranger to reality shows having appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2017, Dancing on Ice in 2021 and Celebrity Gogglebox.
The mother-of-five has also made appearances as a presenter on Loose Women.

The drag performer and singer rose to fame after winning the fourth series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2022.
The 32-year-old, from Liverpool, has since appeared in the soap opera Hollyoaks, as a guest on The Traitors: Uncloaked and a temporary presenter on BBC Radio 1.

Ella Rae Wise may be leaving her native Essex for the a brief stint in the Big Brother residence.
The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) star is rumoured to be signed up for the show as a contestant.
Wise, 24, has been starring in TOWIE since 2019 and has also made appearances in Celebrity Ex on the Beach and The Challenge UK.
Tommy Fury

The boxer and former islander, 25, is said to heading for the house next month, after splitting from his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague last year.
Fury, who is the half-brother of boxer Tyson Fury, took part in the fifth series of Love Island in 2019, where he met Hague.
The couple, who have a daughter, are rumoured to have rekindled their relationship this year.
Aside from his boxing career, Fury has appeared in the Netflix series At Home with the Furys and ITV2 show The Boxer and The Ballroom Dancer.
