UK factories continue to report a downturn in the order book balance for March, with the outlook for the coming months also softening. The monthly balance for output expectations over the next three months fell back to -2 after touching a three-month high of +8 in February. CBI notes that "conditions in the UK's manufacturing sector remain subdued".
