(KRON) -- A 41-year-old man was arrested after police said he sexually assaulted a minor on two occasions in the parking lot of a Santa Clara middle school, authorities announced Monday. Detectives are looking for more possible victims.
The Santa Clara Police Department said Gilberto David Nietoromo, 41, of Livermore, first connected with the victim over social media. Nietoromo allegedly met the victim in the parking lot of Buchser Middle School on two separate occasions and sexually assaulted them in a vehicle.
Officers met with the victim and the victim’s mother on March 10. An arrest warrant for Nietoromo was obtained in the investigation.
Woman kidnapped on camera in Oakland still missingNietoromo was located and arrested on Thursday, March 13, near Industrial Way and South Vasco Road in Livermore. He was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
After further investigation, detectives said there was at least one additional victim in San Jose.
