LAS VEGAS – Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev handled their final pre-fight business at Friday’s UFC 313 ceremonial weigh-ins.
Pereira (12-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) and Ankalaev (20-1-1 MMA, 11-1-1 UFC) will meet for the light heavyweight championship in the main event of Saturday’s card, which takes place at T-Mobile Arena (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews/Disney+, ESPN+). Before that, however, they crossed paths for one last staredown.
Reigning champ Pereira attempts to make his fourth defense of the 205-pound strap after winning it in November 2023. He will have to get through Ankalaev, however, who is undefeated in his past 13 fights dating back more than six years.
