McDonald’s fans are making their voices heard.
The burger chain released a new ad the morning after the Oscars with the go-to breakfast orders of nominees and other famous faces. While social media users liked the concept, several took it as an opportunity to file a complaint with McDonald’s.

The ad, posted on the official McDonald’s Instagram account on March 3, shows a carousel of images of to-go bags with receipts attached. Each of the slides has a different bag and order on it, from the complicated (Julia Fox with hotcakes and ten packets of syrup) to Oscar winner Kieran Culkin’s simple order of a small Diet Coke.

An Easter egg for Oscars fans made it into the ad as well, with an order of an egg McMuffin, no bacon, and a McCafé Latte for Adele Dazeem. In 2014, presenter John Travolta flubbed Broadway star Idina Menzel’s name, with the moniker going down in the history books as one of the live broadcast’s most enduring and hilarious gaffes.
Fans found the concept charming, jumping into the comments to say, “Adele Dazeem! Glad she’s doing well,” or noting that they had similar breakfast cravings as the celebrities. “me ? edgar ramirez,” wrote one fan about the Emilia Pérez star’s bacon, egg, and cheese McGriddle, hash brown, and coffee order.
Several fans used the comments to suggest that a certain item make its way to the menu, and while McDonald’s is at it, to add it as a breakfast item. “Can the snack wrap be a breakfast food ?,” wrote one fan, while another agreed. “Where are the snack wraps!! ?️,” they commented.
A third chimed in to ask the fast food chain directly, writing, “@mcdonalds when is the snack wraps coming out?”
While the popular item, which was discontinued in 2016, will be returning to the Golden Arches sometime this year, McDonald’s has kept mum on when the launch will occur.
