One motorcyclist is dead after rear-ending a car in a Saturday evening crash in Aurora, police said.
The man was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound on East 11th Street at about 4:20 p.m. Saturday when he collided with the back of a Jeep SUV traveling in the same direction, Aurora police said in a Sunday news release. Investigators said he was not wearing a helmet.
The crash happened in a residential area near the intersection of East 11th Street and Kingston Street, north of East 6th Avenue, police said.
Paramedics took the motorcyclist to the hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said. The two women inside the Jeep were not injured.
