AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department is conducting a death investigation after a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian that happened near Barton Springs Monday, the agency said on social media.
Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) previously said one person suffered critical injuries in that crash shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Barton Springs Road and Azie Morton Road.
One adult was taken to a "local trauma center with critical injuries," according to ATCEMS.
