An SEG executive shared that it explored every avenue to make Yeti work but that YETI Coolers, LLC was ultimately unwilling to agree to a co-existence agreement. SEG has confirmed it is no longer pursuing Yeti as a potential name for the team.”

We’re talking about what could be the most perfect partnership for Yeti! Imagine all the Yeti coolers and drinkware at Utah games and for sale online. The brand-new YETI Utah Yeti cup! The YETI Yeti cooler! The Yeti mascot drinking out of a YETI! Come on!

We had a whole NHL franchise named after a Disney movie! Why can’t Yeti (the company) see an opportunity here and take advantage of it? Because the Utah Yeti is the perfect name here, just like Seattle Kraken was a perfect fit.
