DENVER (KDVR) — Denver and Englewood police were monitoring an ongoing barricade situation in Englewood on Sunday night after an alleged robbery occurred in Denver.
According to police, the scene was near the intersection of West Oxford Avenue and South Huron Court. The area is a few blocks east of the Englewood Recreation Center and a few blocks north of Jason Park.
FOX31's Alliyah Sims was live at the scene Sunday night, where numerous police cars were in the residential neighborhood.
Denver police said that Englewood officers were working to contact suspects from a robbery that occurred in Denver Sunday afternoon.
The Denver Police Department also shared that there were "a number" of people inside the house, but many have exited while the barricaded subject remains. The Denver agency said it would investigate to see if there's a connection between the people who left the house nd the suspects.
