A HORROR crash near the M11 junction has led to carnage on the M25 with road closures in both directions.
The incident has impacted traffic going anticlockwise and led to a double road closure.
It was reported the accident occurred at 11.10am this morning before junction 27 on the M11.
All traffic is being temporarily held as a result of the incident with congestion carnage estimated to last hours.
Traffic reporting system INRIX says that there is queueing traffic for four miles and debris along the road is causing delays.
Essex Police and East of England Ambulance Service have been contacted in relation to this incident.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area where possible.
