The Blackhawks made one relatively surprising roster move on Sunday morning when they recalled Kevin Korchinski. They made another one early in the afternoon, placing forward Joey Anderson on waivers. Anderson, 26, hasn’t played since Nov. 23 but has been, statistically, one of Chicago’s better defensive forwards. The Blackhawks are desperately searching for offense, however. The Rockford IceHogs played in Springfield on Saturday night, so Korchinski and goaltender Drew Commesso are meeting the team in New York to join the lineup against the Rangers.
