Sharjah: The potential for developing antibiotics from molecules found in cockroaches is under investigation in a joint study led by American University of Sharjah (AUS). Dr Naveed Khan, professor and Head of the Department of Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences at the AUS College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), said: “More than 17 million people are dying annually worldwide due to bacterial infections.
