In anticipation of the effects of Tropical Storm Debby across the Triangle, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools has announced several closures for the remainder of the week. Athletics and other student activities from Wednesday through Friday have been cancelled or postponed, with a decision on events scheduled for Saturday to be made at a later date. In addition, all schools and offices will be closed on Thursday (offices are already closed Friday due to the normal CHCCS summer schedule). Thursday will be an optional remote teacher workday for all CHCCS staff. The bond project community meetings scheduled for Thursday have been cancelled and summer meal service will not be offered that day. T
