A new concert series starts Friday in downtown Sharon, Pa. Rockin’ on the River will feature live music once a month from 6 to 9 p.m. at the green space at the corner of Shenango Avenue and State Street. The series opens with an evening of Motown, soul, funk, rock and pop by Grandview Soul. Food trucks will be on-site, and downtown restaurants will have food for purchase and takeout. The series continues July 19 with My So-Called ’90s Band and concludes Aug. 16 with the Labra Brothers. Admission is free.
