A teacher in Massachusetts was put on paid administrative leave after conducting a mock slave auction and using the ‘N-word’ in a fifth-grade classroom. As the teacher remains unnamed thus far, the first incident of the kind allegedly happened in January during a history lesson. However, the local school superintendent only learned of the happenings in late April from parents.  Two incidents against a Margaret A. Neary School teacher were reported.
