BLADEN, Neb. (KSNB) – A Bladen girl took her love of dogs and art and put it in a digital drawing that won the ‘Doodle for Google’ statewide contest. Middle schooler Mazie Boyd was surprised at her school by Google with the award, and now, she’s entered into a contest to win the national award which carries with it a scholarship prize. Mazie said this drawing is just one way she wants to express her love for furry four legged creatures. “I just went with all dog themed and I just love, have always loved dogs and I wanted to open a shelter of my own and make sure more shelters were no kill shelters,” Mazie Boyd said.
