Bhubaneswar: The inter-state cooperation is essential for ensuring free, fair and peaceful elections, said Odisha DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi. The Odisha DGP has held meeting with the DGPs of neighbouring states to ensure cooperation for the ensuring simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the state. The meeting focused on check illegal transportation of narcotics, money and arms during the elections, according to reports.
