NORTH BLOOMFIELD — James Lee Johnson, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Warren on March 7, 1947, to the late Raymond L. and Blanche Glowacki Johnson. Jim married Dottie Harper, 50 years ago, March 30, 1974. They enjoyed their lives together on “Blessed Acres.” Jim served as a Chief Warrant Officer in the 1st U.S. Army as a Rotary Wing Pilot, in the Vietnam War. He received many medals, including three Purple Hearts. To know Jimmy was to love Jimmy. He loved sharing his faith, and having parties with Evan, family and friends. He was very talented and loved working with wood. He appreciated God’s handiwork
