Chhotray, who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance in a case vide Special Judge, Special Court, Bhubaneswar for possessing disproportionate assets of Rs.10,37,965, was convicted by Special Judge, Special Court, Bhubaneswar. He was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.2,00,000 and in default of payment of fine, to undergo further rigorous imprisonment for 6 months more for the offence U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(e) of PC Act, 1988.
