Cairo, SANA-Syria’s permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ambassador Hussam al-Din Ala, said Monday that Syria categorically rejects attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue, stressing the necessity to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza and support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people by breaking siege imposed on Gaza Strip and delivering the humanitarian aid to its residents. “The Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip is part of a broader image as we mustn’t forget the need to end the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the rest of the occupied Arab territories,” Ala said in a speech before the fifth session of the Arab ministerial Council on Population and Developmen
