The 2022 Cairo International Film Festival has chosen Reem Allam as the new director of the fifth edition of the Cairo Film Industry Days, which will be held from 13 to 22 November. Reem’s predecessor is Myriam Deghidi, former director. Reem Allam is the Executive Director and Artistic Coordinator of the Downtown Contemporary Festival (D-CAF) and was selected in 2018 to be part of an international jury member at the Zurich Theater Festival: one of the largest festivals in Switzerland.
