After Bones explained why he agreed to Dancing With the Stars, he finally managed to take back control, asking Stamos, "So how many times have you been asked to do that show?"
"Every single season," Stamos claimed. "I said, 'Stop, don't ever ask me again. I'm never going to do that show."
Bones tried to convince him that he'd "love it," but Stamos wasn't having it.
"What makes that show good is people suffering and looking like fools," he explained. "They're breaking their feet, and you know, the calluses."
Ironically, one of Bones' fellow contestants was Stamos' Fuller House co-star, Juan Pablo Di Pace. Once he realized that Bones had won, despite Di Pace getting "tens every single week," Stamos couldn't hide his shock. "How did you get more votes than the guy from Fuller House?" he exclaimed.
A Decade of Turning Down the Dance Floor
While it may seem like Stamos was exaggerating when he claimed he's asked to appear on the ABC reality show every year, he was first mentioned as a dream guest by professional dancer Karina Smirnoff in 2010. "I have a wish to dance with John Stamos," she told PEOPLE at the time. "He could be a great dancer."
But even then, Stamos knew that was something he definitely wasn't interested in. "I’m not doing Dancing with the Stars. Flattered to be asked,” he wrote on X (via PEOPLE). "I’m not a dancer. I’d put my foot in my mouth faster thanJohn Mayer."
