Dolly Parton gave us plenty to love over the years, from her unforgettable music to her larger-than-life personality. But the country music legend also made a name for herself in another part of the house: the kitchen. Her home and kitchen collections are chock full of charming, colorful finds that make everyday tasks feel a little more fun. Think darling drinkware, whimsical baking essentials, and accessories.
One such item is the Dolly Parton Mini Colander, available at Amazon for just $8. With its soft pink finish, scalloped edges, and tiny butterfly-shaped cutouts, this kitchen helper looks more like something you’d display on an open shelf than leave sitting in the sink.

Shop at AmazonRather than a traditional round bowl with a plain rim, this colander features gently curved, petal-like edges and a soft pink finish that adds a cheerful pop of color to your kitchen. The bottom and sides are dotted with drainage holes and delicate butterfly-shaped cutouts, making it just as pretty to look at as it is practical. As one shopper put it, “Its construction is sturdy and it is absolutely adorable.”
Measuring 7.63 inches long, 6.15 inches wide, and 3.11 inches high, it’s the “perfect size” for smaller food-prep tasks. Use it to rinse a handful of strawberries, blueberries, grapes, or cherry tomatoes, drain canned vegetables, or strain a single serving of pasta. The raised base keeps food elevated above draining water, so you can set it directly in the sink while tackling another part of dinner.
And despite the decorative cutouts, the design doesn’t sacrifice functionality. One reviewer noted, “The holes are big enough to allow good flow without losing much out the bottom except for tiny particles and water.”
