Jon Gosselin says he has been out of touch with his twin daughters for so long that he wouldn’t recognize them if he passed them on the street.
Speaking on the Tuesday, November 3 episode of Brooke Goff’s Legally Goff podcast, the Jon & Kate Plus 8 alum reflected on his estrangement from Mady and Cara, now 26. He said he has missed major milestones, including their graduations and proms, and knows little about their lives today.
“I’ve been alienated since they were 13 years old,” he said. He described the lack of contact as “silence,” adding, “I’ve never heard their voice.”
Jon also shared his view of how the estrangement happened. He speculated that the twins may believe he did not want to see them, saying they had heard what he called a negative “narrative” about him. He further compared their situation to his estrangement from son Collin. Mady and Cara have not publicly responded to his latest comments.
