The presenter, who stepped down from Strictly Come Dancing at the end of last year and quit her self-titled chat show after just one season, was reported to be in talks to host a reboot of the popular programme earlier this year, but has now signed her contract, according to The Sun.
"Claudia was exceptional on Hell’s Kitchen back in the Noughties and is absolutely still the right person for the job."
Winkleman previously hosted the fourth and final run of the original UK version of the programme in 2009, when Marco Pierre White served as the head chef.
"I think we're gonna come back to the UK with Hell's Kitchen live next year," he told The Sun.
"And it’s about time, because everywhere I go across the UK it’s ‘Please bring it back’. So we’re talking now with ITV to bring it back. And fingers crossed we’ll have something exciting to keep you updated on."
She also joined dog show Crufts back in March to present live coverage for Channel 4 alongside Clare Balding and the team.
