“Tensions are NOT RISING,” Feldshuh wrote in a Threads post on Oct. 31. “Profound differences of opinion are. Please do not conflate the two — And none of it will be brought to the set. I deeply enjoy filming NWT and hope we are chosen to go on for a fourth season.”
Back in September, Brody told GQ that he agrees with the opinion of a United Nations commission of inquiry on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
“Put me down as thinking it’s a genocide,” he told the outlet. “Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.”
Brody, who is Jewish, continued, “It’s awful that it’s taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it’s reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I’m hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is.”
Feldshuh, who is also Jewish, clapped back at his comments earlier this week, arguing that accusing “the Jewish people of genocide is wild.”
“It’s right out of Hitler’s playbook,” she told The New York Post on Monday. You take the victim and you make the victim the perpetrator.”
Despite their differing opinions, Feldshuh noted that she would not let it alter their working relationship.
“My job, as Bina but also as Tovah, is to love the people on set at my place of work, to be kind,” she said.
Nobody Wants This Season 3 premiered on Netflix on Oct. 22.
