ROCHESTER, N.Y.— Fans had the chance to watch the Red Wings win the first game of the playoffs against the Memphis Redbirds on Tuesday night at ESL Ballpark. General Manager Dan Mason wanted to open the ballpark to fans so they could watch the first playoff game in 13 years together despite the team being on the road.
The Red Wings won the game 4-3 powered by a solo home run from Seaver King. King recorded three of Rochester’s 10 hits in the win. The Red Wings will be back in action Wednesday night at 7:45 pm.
