Seth Burger of Potomac, Maryland has announced his verbal commitment to continue his academic and athletic career at Boston College.

Burger swims for All Star Aquatics and most recently swam at Futures in Greensboro. There he was highlighted by an 18th place finish in the 200 back as he swam a lifetime best 2:08.93.
He finished his short course season at the ISCA Senior Cup. There he was 5th in the 200 back (1:49.52) and 8th in the 100 back (51.20), both slightly off his lifetime bests. He notably swam a lifetime best 4:01.33 400 IM for 8th.
Burger’s Best SCY Times Are:
200 back: 1:47.23 100 back: 50.76 400 IM: 4:01.33 200 IM: 1:53.55The Boston College men finished 15th out of 15 teams at the 2026 ACC Championships with 112 points. All of their points camwe from relays.
Based on his best times, Burger would have been 3rd on the roster this past season in the 200 back and 400 IM. Jonah Nathanson was the team’s fastest 200 backstroker with a 1:46.81 he swam for 42nd at ACCs. It took a 1:42.39 200 back, 46.71 100 back, and a 3:48.98 400 IM to final at ACCs.
Burger will arrive next fall as a member of the class of 2031 along with Oliver Ritchey and Kirk Morgan. Morgan also swims for All Star Aquatics at the club level.
