ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester’s iconic “City-Mark” is turning 50 years old this year.
The city is celebrating by promoting a book all about it, written by The Friends of the Rochester Public Market. It recounts the history of the City-Mark along with professional photography of the city.
“The book has images of our beautiful city, and, I guess the history of the logo and how it started, and what’s going on now with the logo, and how popular it is,” said Yolanda Sheffa, president of the Friends of the Rochester Public Market.
The City-Mark book will be available for purchase on Sundays in Shed B at the market.
