Junior Nationals qualifier Logan Truskowski has announced his verbal commitment to swim for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington beginning in the fall of 2027.
“I’m excited and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swimming career at UNC Wilmington! Thank you to Coach Bobby and Coach Branden for this opportunity and for believing in me. Huge thanks to my family, friends, and coaches at Enfinity Aquatic Club and Club Wolverine for your constant support and guidance, this wouldn’t be possible without you. Most importantly, thank you to God for leading me here. Can’t wait for what’s ahead. GO SEAHAWKS! ”
Originally from Michigan, Truskowski attended Saline High School, where he competed for the varsity swimming team in addition to training with Club Wolverine. He now swims for Enfinity Aquatic Club in North Carolina, primarily specializing in breast and IM.
At the 2026 MHSAA (Michigan High School Athletic Association) Boys Division I State Championships in March, Truskowski logged two lifetime best performances. He took 3rd in the 100 breast (55.58 – PB) and 7th in the 200 IM (1:55.12) after setting a best time of 1:54.63 during prelims.
A few weeks later, Truskowski turned in another series of top swims at the Four Corners Sectional Championships. He earned a second swim in three events, placing 6th in the 200 breast (2:00.48 – PB), 11th in the 100 breast (56.36) and 37th in the 400 IM (4:07.69). He also contested the 100 back (52.83 – PB) and set a personal best time of 4:06.29 during the prelims of the 400 IM.
Truskowski competed at the Junior National Championships (LCM) over the summer, where he contested the 50 breast (29.63 – PB), 100 breast (1:05.52) and 200 breast (2:23.63).
Best Times SCY:
100 breast – 55.58 200 breast – 2:00.48 200 IM – 1:54.63 400 IM – 4:06.29A Division I Mid-Major program, UNCW is a member of the Coastal Athletic Association, with the men’s team winning its fifth-straight conference title last season. Based on the 2026 CAA Championships, Truskowski would have landed in the ‘B’ final in the 100 breast and 200 breast. On the team itself, he would have ranked 4th in the 100 breast and 5th in the 200 breast last season, putting him in a position to be a strong contributor right from the start.
Joining Truskowski in Wilmington are Riley Poirier (free/fly/IM) and Bryce Keaton (free/back/fly), who should make for strong training partners over the next four years.
