2026 ASCA World Clinic
September 9th – 12th, 2026 Rosen Centre, Orlando FL Convention WebsiteUSA Swimming CEO, Kevin Ring, attended the ASCA World Clinic in Orlando, giving a speech on the status of USA Swimming as well as fielding questions from coaches. After his speech, SwimSwam caught up with Ring to get an update on how he’s feeling 1 year into the job. In terms of the National Team, Ring says he was pleased with the results of Pan Pacs and that Team USA is actually a bit ahead of where he thought they might be moving into LA28.
In regard to the Olympic Games in two years, Ring made a point of noting that he sees them not as a destination, but as a launching point. The new CEO is focused on building infrastructure around the sport so that if and when swimming has a massive influx of interest due to the Games, USA Swimming will be ready to launch the sport to new heights.
