LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. — A K9 with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office retired after eight years of service.
K9 Kai came from Holland in 2018. The dog was trained to track and detect drugs during his time with the department.
Kai and Sgt. Caleb Cutting received awards and recognition over time while working together. This includes K9 commendations, Drug Buster Awards, and being honored by the Board of Supervisors for a Distinguished Service Award.
Kai will spend his retirement with Cutting and his family.
