The Executive Director of the National Training Academy in Egypt, Solafa al-Goueli announced on Monday the launch of a virtual training program for young Egyptians expatriates.
The program aims to expand access to training programs and reach the largest possible number of young Egyptians residing outside the country.
This will be achieved through modern digital platforms and tools that provide them with opportunities for learning, skills development, and professional and leadership growth from anywhere in the world, Goueli said.
During her participation in the Egyptians Abroad Conference, themed “No Matter How Far We Are… Egypt Brings Us Closer,” Goueli emphasized the importance of designing training programs specifically for second- and third-generation Egyptians living abroad, considering them a natural extension of Egyptian identity.
Strengthening the connection of young Egyptians living abroad requires innovative programs that introduce them to Egypt’s history, culture, and values, in addition to developing their leadership and personal skills, thus enhancing their role as ambassadors for Egypt in their host communities.
Goueli explained that the academy places investment in Egyptian human capital, both within the country and abroad, at the heart of its vision, through the design and implementation of training and development programs.
She said that these programs contribute to capacity building, the development of young leaders, and the establishment of a culture of lifelong learning, in line with the demands of the future and the changing job market.
Egyptian Women Abroad
Goueli reviewed the “Egyptian Women Abroad” program, which was implemented in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry.
She said that the program comes within state efforts to strengthen national ties with Egyptians abroad and provide participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of national issues and development priorities.
This thereby helps consolidate their sense of belonging and enhance their active engagement with their homeland.
Goueli emphasized that the program’s success reflects the importance of continuing initiatives and training programs aimed at Egyptian expatriates, especially given the high turnout and positive feedback it received.
She noted that the academy continues to develop high-quality training programs that meet the needs of expatriates.
