GREECE, N.Y. — The Greece Town Board has voted to approve a special use permit for the Studio 6 Extended Stay on Center Place Drive.

The town previously voted to shut down the motel until the owners could fix a litany of fire and code violations. At Thursday night’s meeting, board members said the vast majority of those problems were fixed.
One condition of the permit is that the motel must not let guests stay beyond 28 days. No word yet on when the motel plans to reopen.
