Collin Gosselin received a heartfelt reminder of his family’s support during the latest episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
During the Nov. 5 episode of the FOX reality competition, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star was among the contestants who received a video message from loved ones back home. For Collin, 22, the message came from his father, Jon Gosselin, and stepmother, Stephanie Lebo.
“Hey Collin, it’s your dad here, obviously,” Jon began. “I just wanna say I love you and I support you. You’ve been through a lot. You’ve turned into the man that I thought you would always be.”
Stephanie also had words of encouragement for her stepson.
“I just love how much you’ve grown in five short years,” she said. “And you didn’t let your past define who you are today. You’re a go-getter.”
Jon concluded the message by telling Collin, “We love you and can’t wait to see you.”

Rudy Reyes also commented on how much the experience meant to Collin.
“I mean, he really impressed upon us that he wanted to be here ’cause it’s his dream,” Reyes said.
