University of Alabama women’s gymnastics team welcomes eight 2026 recruits ...Middle East

The Alabama gymnastics team has achieved four decades of greatness and is bringing in eight class of 2026 recruits to carry on the legacy. All commits have signed to the Crimson Tide as all-around gymnasts. 

Elizaveta Grebenkova

Elizaveta Grebenkova was the top-ranked recruit for the Class of 2027 and was originally committed to Auburn University, but she has decided to reclassify and commit to Alabama gymnastics. The 17-year-old from Moscow is a 2025 Nastia Liukin Cup all-around champion, 2025 Women’s Development Program National all-around champion, 2026 Nastia Liukin Cup uneven bar champion and 2026 Women’s Development Program uneven bar national champion.

Kennedy Cochran 

“I have dreamed of this day since I was a little girl,” said Kennedy Cochran, from Chandler, Arizona, in a commitment post on Instagram. “And I feel so blessed to sign to my dream school.”

Throughout the years, Cochran trained and competed at Gold Medal Gymnastics, where she received multiple state and national invitations. Cochran is a 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier, 2023 Arizona state all-around, 2024 Arizona state all-around champion and 2024 floor exercise national champion. 

Addison Sarisky

Addison Sarisky has received numerous championship invitations and titles before ultimately committing to the Capstone. Sarisky is a two-time Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier, 2024 uneven bars national champion, three-time 2025 national champion in the uneven bars, balance beam and all-around, 2025 Region 5 DEV Athlete of the Year, 2025 DEV National Team member and three-time Region 5 All-Star Team member. 

Madyson Boyd

Signee Madyson Boyd said “committing to Alabama isn’t just about where [she is] going—it’s about honoring the journey that got [her] here.”

Boyd accumulated two 39 all-around scores in one season, scored two consecutive 10.000 scores on the floor exercise, was a 2026 Region 8 Senior B vault and all-around champion and a 2026 Florida state champion in vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around while she competed with Brandy Johnson’s Gymnastics. 

Ella Kate Parker

Throughout her training at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy, Ella Kate Parker from West Monroe, Louisiana, was a three-time U.S. national team member and a 2022 Team USA gold medalist at DTB Pokal in Germany. 

Parker is also a 2022 Winter Cup champion on the balance beam and floor exercise, 2022 floor exercise bronze medalist at the DTB Pokal Challenge, 2024 J.O. Nationals junior champion on the floor exercise and all-around and 2024 Nastia Liukin Cup junior champion on the balance beam and all-around. 

Avery Schlichting

“I am so excited to be able to continue my gymnastics career with an amazing team and fantastic coaches,” said Avery Schlichting from Belvidere, Illinois, while announcing her commitment.. “Words can’t express how excited I am that I am able to be a part of something so special.”

Schlichting competed at Energym Gymnastics, where she achieved level 10 regionals and state top-two placements; as well as level 10 nationals medalist in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

Leigh-Anne Elliott

Leigh Anne Elliott from Williamsburg, Virginia, received training from World Class Gymnastics, where she is a two-time regional champion in 2023 and 2024, a three-time national qualifier from 2022-2024 and a four-time state champion from 2022-25. Elliott is also a 2023 DP national team member and a 2023 Region 7 All-Star member. 

Ella Sloane Griffin

Ella Sloane Griffin from Leesburg, Virginia, will be representing the Crimson Tide as a walk-on. Throughout her training with Dulles Gymnastics, Griffin received a two-time VHSL Class 4 State champion in 2024 and 2025, two-time First Team All-State honoree as a sophomore and junior and served as varsity cheer captain her junior and senior year of high school. She is also a 2023 State champion on vault and the all-around, 2024 DP Nationals medalist on vault, 2025 top-five finisher at State Championships on the vault, floor exercise and all-around, 2025 Regional medalist on vault and 2025 Excalibur Cup champion on the floor exercise.
